ABOUT ME

My name is Adrian Trevizo, and I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, currently based in Dallas, Texas.

My interest in the field of media was ignited at an early age. At the age of eighteen, I relocated to the United States, settling in the small town of Odessa, Texas, where I completed my final year of high school at Odessa High School in 2019. I graduated in the top 10% of my class, which consisted of over 800 students.

In that same year, I enrolled at Odessa College, where three years later, I obtained my associate degree in Business Administration, all while being away from my family and having limited fluency in English language.

In August 2022, I transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington, where I am currently pursuing a degree in Broadcast Communication and Public Relations. I am eager to continue my personal and professional growth in this field and graduate in 2024.

I am currently a part of UTA NEWS en Español, where we bring the Hispanic news program to the university every week, sharing relevant, impactful, and inclusive stories for those within and beyond the campus community. There, I have developed skills as a reporter, news anchor, and even in production and editing.

UTA RADIO - EL MERO SHOW DE ADRIAN TREVIZO

"El Mero Show de Adrian Trevizo" was a project in which I participated every Tuesday during the fall semester of 2022 at UTA RADIO, an online radio station. For one hour, I produced, hosted, and structured the radio show, which catered to a bilingual audience, predominantly Hispanic. The format revolved around Hispanic music, and through this experience, I gained skills in radio console operation, fluent speaking, and developed a unique charisma.
